This workshop is a healing space for eldest daughters who have long carried the weight of responsibility, care, and quiet resilience. As the ones often expected to “hold it together,” eldest daughters especially in immigrant and multicultural families tend to grow up too fast, putting their own needs aside in order to support others.
In this gentle, reflective workshop, we’ll reconnect with the parts of ourselves that never got to play, ask for help, or feel free to take up space. Through guided exercises, storytelling, and artistic practices, participants will be invited to explore joy, rest, and softness. Look forward to DIY flower arrangement, love letter to ourselves, and more!
Please note, we will be gathering outdoors, so participants are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, chairs, etc.
